I know I've been MIA for a month now. I've been to Art & Soul/Vegas and Adorn Me! in Houston. I started a post, but I know you'd rather see pictures, right? I've got plenty of them, so let's get started!!!!! I'll explain as we go along. We have to start off with the pocket skirt, because that's where I left off.
I scrapped the skirt in the previous post, which I named 'Too Much Pink and Not Enough Orange'. (This is it in it's original condition.)Here's the one I wore, which won 'Best of Show':
These are the pendants and bracelets for the kits I made for the Tea Party:
One of my favorite things is soldering, and I got to do that this afternoon. This picture is pendants that are destined for kits for the Art and Soul/Vegas Tea Party. (Dbl-click on the picture to enlarge it if you want to see it a little better!)
I love the graphics by A. Robida of the Regency period. And I love these! Should I give a couple away for OWOH? I think so.....
The top 3 are 'Steampunk Zombies', which I also love; the bottom one is moi dressed up like a witch for Halloween! Am I not gruesome for a 5yo?
This is the skirt that I will be altering to wear to the Art and Soul/Vegas Pocket Skirt Fashion Show. I'm super-pshyched to start working on it, but I have to do some other prep work before I can really begin. And that's all I can say! I'll post more photos as it progresses, I promise!
Welcome, everyone! This is my first year for participating in the OWOH Magic Carpet Ride, and Bella(I'm watching 'Twilight') will be departing--as soon as she takes care of all her little friends. Hope you like her! She's rubber stamped and lightly tinted, and I just love how she turned out--just like I imagined!
If you'd like to win her, you must leave a comment to be eligible to win, and you must have a link back to you or leave an email address so I can contact you if you should win. I will be drawing a name on Feb 15 @ 9PM CDST.
My first love is paper, but I have quilted, and love fabric. I still love paper, but it is now the foundation for my mixed media art. I REALLY like art best if I'm getting my fingers messy.
